General info for courses
Please find below any info we think you're going to need when attending one of our Creative Courses. If there's anything we've missed, please don't hesitate to give us a call.
Location & Parking
We are on the estate just off the Whitstable Road, close to the Recreation Ground. Go past Screwfix and turn right. We are on the first floor of Unit 1C, Sidings Close, ME13 8GE. It's about a 15 minute walk of both the railway station and the centre of town.

Weekend Parking
When you visit for a weekend course, you may park in any available space in the parking area OPPOSITE the workshop - look for the spaces marked for Cedar or Ideaworks, or use the spaces outside Unit 7 & 8. We've cleared this with those businesses so please don't worry about the reserved signs. (This applies at weekends only - when visiting for framing please only park immediately outside).

Lunch
Inside the workshop, we have a small kitchen area, well stocked with good quality teas and coffee. On workshop days, we will also endavour to have fresh pastries or homemade cake available. If you are staying for a full day course, we recommend you bring a packed lunch. If you do need to pop out for something, nearby we have Fillers sandwich shop, open Saturdays until 2pm (closed Sundays), Welcome Co-op opposite the park (always open!), and Hat Hats in the neighbouring park for coffee, smoothies and snacks (open Saturday and Sunday).
I can't make it!
Bookings are non-refundable, but if you do find are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Up to 10 days before the event, you may reschedule your booking, subject to availability. After this time, no refund or cancellation is possible, but you are welcome to pass your booking on to a friend - just let us know. If you do reschedule, this can only be done once in any six month period; subsequent rebookings will need to be paid for again. Please note, some workshops may not be repeated. No refunds or transfers will be given for no-shows.

Accessibility and suitability
We occupy the first floor, unfortunately with no lift access. As the downstairs part of the building is not ours, we regret there is currently no way to accommodate those for whom stairs are a problem. If you have other requirements, please contact us and we will be able to advise whether a particular course will be suitable. Unless otherwise stated, our courses are for adults aged 18 and over.
