Experimental Printmaking Course 2


SUNDAYS x 5 13th September to 11th October 10am to 2pm / Full day 10am to 4pm in the final week £240 Engage in experimental printmaking with this immersive, hands-on 5 session course. The programme is designed to introduce both fundamental printmaking methods, and innovative techniques, developing your confidence as a printmaker, and enabling you to create your own distinctive prints. You will learn and explore different printmaking techniques, gaining a solid grounding in each, then go on to explore in more detail one that most appeals to you, or perhaps experiment with combining them. • Session 1: Drypoint etching • Session 2: Tetra Pak printing • Session 3: Monoprint Other techniques may be brought in along the way where relevant. • Sessions 4 & 5: In the final weeks, you will combine the techniques learned with your own personal style and skills to create a body of work which is informed by the knowledge you have gained on your printmaking journey. We welcome participants of all skill levels. You will benefit from personalised guidance and support from an experienced tutor throughout. By the end of the programme, you will have produced a portfolio of unique prints that showcase your progression and creativity. This course will support and inspire you on your journey to becoming a confident and creative printmaker. All essential materials needed for the course are provided, plus use of a professional printing press. This course will run weekly on Sunday mornings, from 10am to 2pm. Cancellation Policy

Bookings are non-refundable, but if you do find are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Up to 10 days before the event, you may reschedule your booking, subject to availability. After this time, no refund or cancellation is possible, but you are welcome to pass your booking on to a friend - just let us know. If you do reschedule your booking, this can only be done once in any six month period; subsequent rebookings will need to be paid for again. Please note, some workshops may not be repeated. No refunds or transfers will be given for no-shows.
